Introduction:

With an aim to ensure equitable access to quality
academic resources and promote impactful research across higher education
institutions in India, the Government of India launched the “One Nation One
Subscription (ONOS)” initiative. Under this scheme, more than 30 reputed
international publishers have provided free e-access to their scholarly
journals for eligible institutions.

As a beneficiary of this initiative, Gujarat Arts and
Science College now has access to over 13,136 internationally recognized
e-journals. To enable optimum utilization of this platform for academic,
teaching, and research purposes, the college’s library department organized a
series of four training sessions along with the distribution of login
credentials (User IDs and Passwords) to faculty members.

This comprehensive training and logistical arrangement
was meticulously planned and conducted by College Librarian Dr. Sandip Patel.
